College of Teacher Education, Mangaldai mainly conduct two year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course under Gauhati University.
Eligibility:
For admission to B.Ed. course shall be as per NCTE norms. Candidates who have passed bachelor degree under 10+2+3 (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) Pattern/Master degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce securing 50% marks or above for general caste and at least 45% for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates are considered eligible to apply for the B.Ed. course. However, these norms may be relaxed for in service teacher deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the admission in B.Ed. course.

Admission Procedure:
The seat capacity of College of Teacher Education, Mangaldai as limited by NCTE to 50 (One basic Unit). The Govt. of Assam select the list of teacher from secondary schools and accordingly we admit them on first come first basis. It is also worth mentioning that if the seats remain vacant and those seats are filled up by the candidates selected by the Gauhati University from their B.Ed. entrance test.
